at Pinehurst.

Minnesota Women's State Match Play Championship
1940
The event was hosted by Minikahda Country Club, Gertrude Boothby Dansingburg
won and Beatrice Barrett once again was runner up.

The Women's Trans-Mississippi Golf Association 1940
The Women's Trans was played at Glen Echo Country Club in St. Louis,
Missouri. Betty Jameson was the champion and Patty Berg was the medalist
with a 77.

The tournament was held at Augusta Country Club and it was won by Mrs. Helen Tolan.

New York State Women's Amateur Championship 1940
This championship was won by Marjorie Harrison of Ausable Forks.

The Vermont State Women's Championship was played at Rutland,
won by Mrs. H. B. Jones with runner up, Mrs. C. H. Beecher.
